In OpenSim, storyteller Shandon Loring brings the dark genius 
of Edgar Allan Poe back to life through an immersive exhibit 
that blends classic gothic atmosphere with modern AI 
creativity. Visitors step into a digital dreamscape where Poe’s
haunted words whisper through flickering lights and shifting
shadows, each scene reimagined with the help of artificial
intelligence, a ghostly co-author from another century. 
The exhibit captures the timeless fascination with Poe’s 
macabre imagination, proving that nearly two centuries after
his death, his tales of love, death, and madness still echo 
through every medium, from quill and parchment to code 
and pixel. In this space, the line between past and present 
blurs, and the master of the morbid lives again, 
fittingly as a digital ghost.
